The Forest County Humane Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) no-kill shelter in Wisconsin’s Northwoods - Crandon, WI. We rescue, rehabilitate, and provide adoption of all breeds of dogs, cats, and other small companion animals. We provide veterinary services for every animal that we rescue before they are adopted, including spaying/neutering (if animal is old enough), all vaccines and boosters, a Lyme disease test, heartworm check, and deworming. We care for our homeless animals until we can place them with loving families. We are not funded by the county, state, or federal government. We are funded solely from donations (small and large) from people just like you. To continue to be their shelter from the storm, a safe haven for companion animals, providing food, medical care and human tenderness. To continue to enrich the lives of animals, families and communities through adoption services, education, and by taking a firm stand against animal cruelty.
