Richmond SPCA

Richmond, VA

The Richmond SPCA, founded in 1891, is a non-profit, no-kill humane organization dedicated to the principle that every life is precious. We save the lives of more than 4,000 homeless animals each year and care for about 350 cats and dogs daily. While in our care, each pet receives lifesaving medical and rehabilitative treatment before their adoptions. In our veterinary hospital, we offer essential veterinary treatment at an affordable cost for pets who belong to families of modest means. We deliver humane education to children and adults, encouraging compassion for all creatures.
