The Canine Adoption and Rescue League (CARL) has provided thousands of homeless and at-risk dogs food, shelter, life saving vet care, and loving forever homes. Founded in 1996, CARL has helped dogs, who've been relinquished, abandoned, and often abused. CARL is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, all breed, NO KILL dog rescue. We are also a sanctuary for those dogs that do not get adopted, including a Senior Dog Rescue Program. CARL relies completely on donations and does not receive any government, state or city funding; it operates almost entirely via volunteers.
