The Humane Society of Northwest Iowa is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal shelter that has proudly served Dickinson, Clay, Emmet, Palo Alto, O'Brien and Osceola counties for 25 years. Our mission is to promote the ethical and humane treatment of all animals, as well as provide care, housing and rehabilitation for animals in need while they are with us. The Humane Society of Northwest Iowa is a Limited Admittance No-Kill Shelter that doesn’t receive any funding from government sources, the HSUS (Humane Society of the United States), or the AHS (American Humane Society).
