Our first and foremost goal is to ensure the health and safety of the residents of Spalding County by controlling the population of unwanted animals—domesticated and otherwise. We strongly believe in the humane treatment of all animals. We put our best foot forward to ensure all animals are provided with adequate food, freshwater, and shelter. We also protect animals that have been fought, maliciously killed, injured, and permanently disfigured. Finally, we love to see our animals adopted. That is the most enjoyable part of our job. We have so many adoptable animals that want to go home and be a part of your family. Our adoptable animals are willing to give your family unconditional love and companionship. By adopting our animals to good homes, we have met the majority but not all of our goals.
