Mutt Match L.A. is a registered 501(c)(3) non profit corporation governed by the laws of the State of California. We are an equal opportunity ALL breed rescue. While we do not specialize in any one particular breed, we are bleeding hearts for puppies, seniors and special needs cases. While many people believe cute cuddly puppies are the first to be adopted from shelter’s the truth is, that simply isn’t true. Mutt Match believes in intervention; intervening when possible keeping dogs out of an already over crowded shelter system where they are vulnerable to illnesses, over crowding, abusers and less then compassionate/capable homes. Therefore, we take owner surrenders, strays and dogs being given away on such sites as craigslist.
